Some of my earliest and most cherished memories are of my dad strumming his guitar and singing around campfires at family gatherings. The crackle of the fire, the glow on the faces of family and friends, and the sound of voices rising together in familiar songs - it was pure magic. Those moments weren’t just about music; they were about connection. Music was the thread that wove us all together, creating a shared joy that lingered long after the flames died down.

I was 12 when my parents gave me an acoustic guitar and I fell in love instantly. That guitar became my constant companion, the starting point of a lifelong journey (though, in true teenage fashion, I smashed that particular guitar in a  in a burst of angst).  I grew up singing and playing in bands, through high school, college, and beyond playing a mix of covers and original music.

Over the years, music has been my joy, my refuge, my creative outlet. It’s where I process the world and connect deeply - with fellow musicians, with strangers who become friends in the crowd, with anyone who’s ever needed a song to feel seen. There’s nothing quite like the shared energy when people start singing and dancing along - it’s electric.

Today, I live in Northern Virginia and perform throughout the DMV area as both a solo acoustic artist and as part of several cover bands. I cover a wide range of music - rock, classic rock, Americana, folk, and alternative - from the ’60s to today. But no matter the genre, it always comes back to that same feeling I had as a kid by the fire: music as a bridge between souls.
